Established in 2015, Armorkun (Xuzhou) Automotive Technology Co., Ltd. was originally a local manufacturer of steering wheels, but has now developed into a worldwide trusted steering wheel custom manufacturer that is trusted by brands in North America, Europe and Asia. International Expansion (2015–2019)

Our company has evolved from a specialist parts supplier to a world-class supplier of steering technology between 2015 and 2019. We grew our production area to 15,000 m2, our machinery bank to more than 150 high-tech machines and our workforce to more than 300 highly specialized technicians and 40 specialized automotive engineers. In these five years we deepened our knowledge in high tech steering solutions and integrated ADAS-integrated (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) interfaces for the first time into the steering system, combined with hand-stitched leather finishes and carbon fiber sport wheels.We were regularly present at key trade events such as the International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt and SEMA in Las Vegas, and forged key partnerships with Tier-1 suppliers and luxury automotive brands across the globe.Working on an international level demanded an understanding of some of the complexities of the global supply chain: meeting the strict requirements of automotive safety testing; dealing with complex logistics across borders; and with “just-in-time” production, the high level of precision required. We put in place strong project management procedures and monitoring systems, and kept our international clients in the same flow of information and technical reliability they would get from a local partner.

Today, the company is a full-service interior manufacturer for the automotive industry and a leading global supplier of steering systems. Whether it’s high-performance carbon fiber wheels, luxury leather-wrapped interfaces, integrated electronic controls or offroad racing equipment, we work with automotive brands and aftermarket specialists in over 60 countries to deliver solutions. From our days as a “reliable factory” we’ve grown up to be a “core driver of the modern cockpit experience”.Driven by the collaboration of specialization in premium luxury vehicles, high-performance sports cars, commercial fleets and the emerging electric vehicle (EV) market. The Precision Manufacturing has an area of 15,000 m². From the starting point of our raw material procurement to our metallurgical tests, molding, precision processing, surface finishing, leather wrapping and hand stitching, electronic integration, final quality calibration, and our secure global logistics, the manufacturing factory is designed to ensure the high precision, high efficiency production at each step.The cleanroom is used for the quality and purity of electronic sensors as well as to give the best possible finish to good quality materials. The logical workflow is streamlined, reducing material handling, boosting turnaround times and eliminating the risk of technical inconsistencies. All production areas are carefully supervised by expert staff, where the highest requirements in automotive technology and international safety and aesthetic standards are met.

Advanced Equipment & Technology

Our in-house production lines are designed to accommodate high volume custom orders as well as custom runs in small batches. CNC CNC Manufacturing Centers, precision injection molding machines, and automatic casting machines ensure consistent structure and tolerances for each frame.To accelerate development, we have a dedicated R&D lab with 3D printing and laser scanning capabilities to create one-day ergonomic prototypes and tactile mock-ups. A full range of customizations is possible in our specialized finishing suites, such as Japanese leather-wrapping stations, automated stitching machines, vacuum-bonding lines and carbon fiber curing ovens. Whether it’s multi-function assemblies and haptic feedback or a premium wood grain and Alcantara wrapping and laser etched detaling, we turn raw materials into sophisticated driving interfaces.
